In reply to Nathalie. Hi Nathalie. Thanks so much for reading my post and taking the time to comment. It's a personal decision, really, whether and how to use the thermos. I've explained what I found out to the best of my ability. I'm still using mine mostly as described in the post.

I have been using my Zojirushi thermos for 10 years now. I have always used it to put water not exceeding 50⁰c from time to time, or with lukewarm water for my everyday use. Should I change it ? I would rather keep it though as I have never found any other brands wh8ch keeps water hot or cold for at least 12hours ! Thank you.

In reply to Janet Greenwood. Thanks for sharing your cold steep tips, Janet! I think Volition carries the same Hario cold brew bottle that I have. It's so useful! I haven't tried hot steeping the leaves after making a cold brew. I definitely need to try that.

I love my cold steeper from Volition Tea! Nepal Collective’s First Flush cold steeps well twice, with a hot steep before I finally get rid of the leaves.
