This post shares 2026 tea festival dates and locations in North America, Europe, and Australia. You can see lists organized by date or country…and even by state within the United States. And, I’ve included a category for virtual tea festivals.
As of the latest update, I have over 30 tea festivals on this 2026 list. Since my 2025 Tea Festivals list had over 40, this 2026 list will certainly grow as more festivals announce their 2026 dates! [Last updated 2/28/26.]
What is a Tea Festival?
Tea festivals are events open to the public (often requiring visitors to purchase tickets). These events feature vendors and artisans (sometimes even producers) who sell tea, teaware, accessories, and related merchandise. They also usually sell tea sweets or other food items. Tea festivals are geared toward the tea-loving public, not tea professionals or those in related industries. The World Tea Expo, for example, caters mainly to professionals.
The definition of tea festivals that I use includes events that have multiple tea vendors. For example, True Honey Teas holds events. They have multiple other kinds of vendors, but only one tea vendor (them). So, their events are not listed below. No judgement on the value of the events, only the type!
In addition to multiple tea vendors, tea festivals usually feature tea professionals and educators who offer workshops on a range of tea-related topics. For example, I presented a workshop at the 2025 Toronto Tea Festival. (Photo by Taniya Gupta)

hi, Helsinki Coffee and Tea festival will be organised April 17-19 in Helsinki, Finland. The main focus is on coffee due to heavy (up to 10 kg/per person per annum!) coffee consumption in Finland, but tea has been established as a theme at the event with various exhibitors, tastings and competitions for Tea of the Year. Helsinki itself has a very rich area filled with teashops and tearooms called Helsinki Tea District. Within short walking distance, you can experience Nordic, European and Asian tearooms.

Hi Rachel! I’ve been waiting for SFITF to announce their 2026 dates. I’m not sure whether the “first weekend” is the Sunday that is Nov 1st, or the following week. For now, I’ve included it as TBA. Hi, we are interested in hosting a tea festival in a small city in Alberta. We are a Chinese tea house, which also teaches people to play the traditional Asian board game, “Go”. What kind of features and activities could we have, for a small city mostly comprised of retired people and students?
