Happy International Women’s Day 2024

This post shares some words to live by for a Happy International Women’s Day 2024.

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8th.

It’s a day to uplift what women have accomplished and what we do, while also raising awareness about oppression and barriers that impede women’s progress. (You can read more about the day and its history here.)

To honor a Happy International Women’s Day 2024, here are a few words to inspire us.

Words to Honor Women and Ourselves

The spout of a white tea kettle pours masala chai into a glass mug. There are orchids in the background. An image to represent filing our cups and helping other women fill their cups.

May we honor the women who have filled our cups.

May we pour and savor a cup for ourselves.

May we share from our abundance to support other women.

I am so grateful I was able to work with Taniya Gupta of YogaTeaPoetry to collaborate on an International Women’s Day Celebration last weekend. These sentiments, in fact, were part of our theme.

To help people of all genders rest and fill their cups (literally and figuratively), I’ve created the online Spring Rest Kit for Tea Lovers.

This kit is designed to help tea lovers replenish. By doing so, we honor ourselves. We also create conditions where we can choose to share from abundance instead of a drained cup.

Registration is open now at the link above.

Tea Infusiast's Spring Rest Kit for Tea Lovers: Everything (except the tea) tha tyou need to have convenient, mindful, and restorative tea breaks.

How will you honor yourself and other women this season?

Happy International Women’s Day 2024!

Sorry that an essential visit to family members in hospital, phone calls and providing a shoulder to lean on kept us away from the tea lecture. We love tea!

So sorry to hear about the family members in the hospital, Barbara. I am holding you all in my heart.
